There is nothing labeled "photostream" in photos app on iPad with ios7

I have a second generation iPad running latest version of ios7. There is nothing in the photos app labeled photostream. There is a photos section and an album section and a cloud which is for shared photostream. I have an iPhone 4 running ios6 and an iMac with Lion. Both my phone and iMac have photostream and both have photos in them. I turned off iPad and turned it back on and photos started appearing in the photos section. I don't take photos with my iPad, is that the reason there is no photostream on it? totally confused. Thanks!
