In soundtrack pro, I am now unable to turn on the monitor for separate tracks.

Whenever I turn one track's monitor on, they all turn on. For example, I set both track 1 and 2 to record two different channels. I then turn the monitor for track 2, but the monitor for track one also comes on... It is a nightmare. It wasn't like this yesterday when I was recording. How can I change it back?
