The only way to track your device is if you activated Find My iPhone under iCloud and the device is on and has a data/Internet connection. Suggest that you report the loss to the police and your carrier. Also change any and all passwords on all accounts you had on the device.

Go to iCloud.com and use find my phone. Or, start looking in the area where you lost it.
