Rename Ultrabeat regions. Here's how in LogicPro9.
This post relates to Logic Pro9. But may be relvant to all versions with the exception of Logix Pro X which has had a major re-design.
Simply use the Inspector to rename your regions.
Once you have dragged the Ultrabeat pattern (by click-dragging the dotted, rectangular Pattern Button located below the Swing dial in Ultrabeat's window, bottom left) into a software instrument track in Logic's Arrange area. You will see the track's region labelled as "Ultrabeat"
In the Inspector (if the Inspector is not open, click the blue, circular info button at the top left of Logic's toolbar) you will see "Ultrabeat"next to a disclosure triangle at the very top of the Inspector list.
Double-click the name next to the disclosure triangle (at the top of the Inspector list) and rename the region. You should now see your track's Ultrabeat region also changed.
As some regions can be too short to display the full name its best to abbreviate. For example: P24 V2 Round Bass. P for Pattern24, V for Voice2 and the name of the voice's instrument if you like.
