I might or it might not. You should be very certain before you make the purchase. The iPhone 5s currently on sale in the US are designed for a US customer. If your iPhone 5s fails to work in your country, your only solutions will be at the behest of a carrier in the US.

Either risk $650 (+ tax) or wait until Apple releases the unlocked version of the iPhone 5s

If you purchased this iPhone already, check Settings > General > About > Model. Only model ME305LL/A is available in the U.S. as an unlocked model. It is a GSM phone that will not work on CDMA.

I got this information from these sources:

The hardware is only part of what makes an iPhone locked/unlocked. Each of the current iPhone 5s models are tied to a US carrier and will always activate with a package of firmware from that carrier. When the factory unlocked models hit the streets, they will likely have the same model numbers as the ones currently available. The difference will be that the unlocked ones will activate without a firmware package from a carrier in the US.
