Nov 29, 2014 6:38 AM in response to gail from maineby gabrielserranomelo,I do not have access to my rescue email – I deleted it – and cannot remember my security questions. I would reach security support, but I live in a country that has no support services available, Colombia. I am definitely stuck. Please help. Thanks.

Dec 15, 2014 8:10 AM in response to matt00by apr98,This is stupid. The instructions told me that in order to reset my security questions, I have to set up a rescue email. In order to set up a rescue email, I have to KNOW my security questions. Thanks, Apple. Maybe I'll switch back to Android. Google's support system is much better.

Dec 15, 2014 9:22 AM in response to apr98by gail from maine,You have to set up a Rescue email address before you forget your questions. What kind of security would there be if any Tom, Dick, or Harry could type in your Apple ID, then set up any old email address to send your Security Question answers to, thus allowing them to sign on to your ID and steal everything that is on there (including your credit card).
If you have forgotten them and you don't have a Rescue email address set up already, you must contact Apple Support to get them reset:

Jan 4, 2015 9:17 PM in response to gail from maineby NightStud1OS,apple is BS ive been at this for 2 years i used to put $$ on my account every year well that built up and now i cant use it now i feel like apple is stealing from me. i cant reset my questions because i dont have a rescue email. does apple really expect to make money and have happy customers that cant access their own accounts? forgetting your security questions is human error BUT they revoke the option to actually use your primary email to help your situation. apple needs to keep their brains sharp and keep the point in their head that if someone wants to buy something with their hard earned money it actually might help to let them buy it without typing in their security questions on the iPhone they had for a year or two and never had a problem before. Does apple really think that their support will help you that well because dropped calls and service hours dont seem to help anyone get off their stress pills they started taking when they started reading this. thanks alot apple i think google will actually enjoy my android use because i dont need to type in any security questions to make a purchase with my money. apple needs to learn the difference between crappy security and security that doesn't keep me locked out of my account if i forget a security question when but will be able to reset them with my primary email. Thanks for nothing apple.

Jan 4, 2015 9:25 PM in response to NightStud1OSby gail from maine,If you would have bothered to read the posts in this thread, you would have seen that there is a very simple, painless answer to your issue. The reason the Rescue email address is a different email address than your primary one is for your protection. If someone hacks your account, and the password to your iTunes is sent to your primary email address, then you have zero security for your iTunes account.
You also have the option of setting up 2-Step Verification which completely does away with Security Questions:
To get your security questions reset (when you do not have a Rescue email address, do not have access to the Rescue email address you originally set up, or you do not remember your Rescue email address), contact Apple Support - they will reset them for you after verifying your identity:
ACCOUNT SECURITY CONTACT NUMBERS
You'd be screaming even louder, I'm sure, if you felt the security of your Apple/iTunes/iCloud ID were compromised due to a lacksadaisical attitude toward it by Apple. Ranting is against the terms of this forum. Next time, just ask your question. You'd be amazed at how easy some of the answers are.

Feb 18, 2015 10:49 PM in response to gail from maineby Haven626,I still don't understand why the rescue email has to be censored??
Getting a support means a couple hours of wait, means I will be missing out this amazing in app purchase deal that expires in 4 hour.. Smh
Just added $20 on the account for nothing loll

Feb 19, 2015 7:42 AM in response to Haven626by gail from maine,What do you mean by "censored"? If you have a valid Rescue email address on file before you forget the answers to your security questions, you will get the option to have the reset information sent to that email address. If you have an outdated one, or you don't have one at all, then your only option is to contact Apple Support.

Feb 19, 2015 9:09 AM in response to gail from maineby Haven626,What I meant by censored was that it says the reset info is sent to l******@hotmail.com, since my last name starts with I ive got a bunch of email starting with l... And the thing is the length of the * didn't even correspond to the real length of the email lol, after 30 mins of email trying I finally found it, this would have been so much easier if they would give me the last letter as well, or at least match the censored email length with the real length..

Feb 19, 2015 10:44 AM in response to Haven626by gail from maine,That is not censured, it is protected. And that is the standard for protected information. Most people do not have "a bunch" of email accounts starting with the same 1st letter. And especially not a bunch of email accounts that start that way and are the same domain (i.e. hotmail)....
