Q: Gift an individual track of music

I have just purchased an album from iTunes. I would like to 'gift' one track of the album to a friend. How do I do this?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.2

Thanks Sheila, unfortunately the option you describe only allows me to 'gift' the entire album, not an individual track from it.

Edward, If you are trying from an iPad, it will only let you gift entire albums. But if you log in to your iTunes account from a PC or Mac, you can gift individual songs, as shown in the picture. Just click the little triangle and choose "Gift This Song."
