iTunes could not connect to... iPhone because the device timed out.

1:

I am given a message that says "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone “Xs iPhone” because the device timed out."

I use a usb cable to connect as always, but after updating to ios 7.0.2 on my iPhone and iTunes 11.1.1 somethings off!

I use a white iMac 10.7.5. iTunes 11.1.1. iPhone 4S 7.0.2.

I cannot update the iMac cause its to old. 10.7.5 is the latest op system.

2:

Further more I cannot see/listen to my songs on my i devices, bought on my mac and vice versa via the cloud. Anybody?

Best,

Michael

I am experiencing the same as your first issue! I have a 5S with 7.0.2, iTunes 11.1.1 and I have tried it on two different PC's both with Windows 7. It is very annoying as I need to load some audio files onto my phone for work and it won't connect! Arghh!!

Somebody please help us!

Thanks

Bec

I am having the exact same problem with the exact same error message the first person is getting. I also cannot download songs out of the cloud like I could with iOS6 (touch the little cloud with the arrow and download to phone). When I touch the cloud, it acts like it wants to download it (I get the little circle liek it's working for like 2 seconds), but then after a few seconds the cloud comes back again and I still don't have the song. I am on an iPhone 5 with iOS7.0.2 and iTunes 11.1.1

Sigh.

So iTunes and the iOS Software on the device is up to date

I would disconnect the device and try to do a hard reset by holding down the sleep/wake button and home button until the device completly turns off then I would connect the device back to the computer and see if that resolves the issue

Otherwise I would highly suggest that you need to update the Software on the computer
