Q: iPad restore with forgotton passcode

iPad will not restore, it says it is not eligible when it is plugged into my mac. How can I get it restored, forgot passcode

It sounds as though you got two errors.

1) Follow these instructions to resolve a forgotten passcode:

2) To resolve error 3194, follow these instructions:
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4451
