Mid-2007 Macbook Pro battery question.
As per spec, my MBP should use a 68 watt-hour battery. Can I use the 95 watt-hour battery instead?

What is your source for a 95 watt hour battery?
Many third party batteries are found to be wanting in the long run. I would only install a battery from Apple or OWC.
Ciao.
I plan to buy the genuine Apple battery.
I have two MBPs - early 2007 (68 watt-hour) and late 2010 (95 watt-hour) models. The battery of my 2007 model was gone and need an replacement. One option, if doable, is to buy a new 95 wh for my 2010, and recycle the old one for my 2007 model.
That is not possible. The 2010 MBP is a non-user replaceable battery which simply will not fit in the 2007 MBP.
I'm pleased that you will purchase an Apple Battery. There have been many posts of batteries purchased on e-bay that are far less expensive but last less than a month. Very poor economy.
Ciao.
Thanks millions, I will heed your advice.
