how do i delete a post ?
You can't.
I made an error and I tried to delete my post, but could not find a way to do it.
I guess none exist, thank you
If the error is that personal information or something else of a security concern was included in the post the hosts can be notified and the post deleted or edited to remove the information.
If the error is of a technical nature usually the post will only be edited or deleted if the information could harm a system.
If it is one of the above we;'ll need a link to the post to send to the hosts.

Hi Frank,
I was searching and noticed some of my posts are inaccurate by today's standards. Can you remove them? Especially the ones that have links to my old dot mac content (which is no longer available)?
I was searching how to remove discussion posts and came across this post.. sorry to hijack, but I couldn't seem to find any other info.
Thanks a bazillion!
My kingdom for a link!
Seriously, if you want posts deleted, Apple Support Community links, once posted are static. Just copy/paste them, and someone can notify a moderator that you have requested deleting them.
These are some of the links with broken dot mac URLs..

Maybe search the thread for dot mac addresses.. It seems like Apple should know that dot mac is invalid and be able to remove those posts with a script.
Do you have any non-commercial replacement links for those links that you used to have?
Or would you like the posts you made back then all removed?
The hosts may or may not remove them, even if made aware. There are billions of old dead links on the Internet to sites which no longer exist, software companies which have gone out of business, etc. These are just more of the same.
Please remove this post. It was accidently submitted while being edited. It is inaccurate and in the wrong forum. How does iCloud photo decide how much space should be available for photos?
As another user, I can't remove or edit your post, but I can ask the hosts to do so.
