iphone4 calenders, contacts,mail and icloud turned grey

hi.

conacts , mails , calenders and icloud icons have turned grey in my iphone4.. while i do take backups regularly,, i ve seen soemwhere here that resetting helps(holding the home and wake/sleep button together).. so tried it also but invain..

any help ?
