Mac mini doesn't support my new Canon PIXMA MX452 printer. I'm not sure which is older. What can I do to make them compatible?

Mac Mini says it does not support my just purchased printer CanonPIXMA452. It may be an old model that was on sale but it has wireless. How do I make them compatible?

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

If you have 2 USB ports on the rear of your Mac Mini, as opposed to 4 or 5, you can't upgrade to 10.6 or later. If you have at least 4 USB ports on the rear of the Mac mini, upgrading to 10.6 is an option, and it will bring it into compatibility with the printer's native drivers.

There may be third party drivers* for your printer that support 10.5.8 and earler.
