E-mail in iphoto

Up until the other day. When I wanted to send a photo to some one it went by "mail" in iphoto. I did something (I have no idea what) today and now Entourage is my email setting in iphoto. I went to preferences in iphoto and then general. I noted that Entourage is now checked. The others listed (America online, Eudora and mail) are "gray out" and can not be checked. I do not use Entourage and never have. Also "mail" is my default mail and still works from the stamp for my email that is working fine.

Thanks

Hi there:

I've have looked over my Mail and iPhoto apps and cannot figure out how that could have happened. My only suggestion would be to make sure Mail is your default email program.

Open Mail > Preferences > General > Default Email Reader, make sure Mail has been selected... That's the only thing I can think of at this time, I hope this helps... Good luck, Rick

Hi again,

> The others listed (America online, Eudora and mail) are "gray out" and can not be checked.

The reason it is 'gray out', is that iPhoto does 'see' Mail at this time. If you know how to run Disk Utility, try repairing permissions and see if that helps.

Good luck, Rick

Hi again - my last suggestion would be to create another user account, log into this account and see if the same thing is happening. If it works properly then I think you have probably did 'something' to iPhoto or even Mail program that is casuing this and you may need to reinstall iPhoto... Good luck, Rick

BTW - if you do have Entourage, go into preferences and make sure it is not default app...
