Bluetooth adapter console error

Hi,

I have manually patched /System/Library/Extensions/IOBluetoothFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/BroadcomBlue toothHostControllerUSBTransport.kext/Contents/Info.plist

In order to support my Trust bluetooth 3.0 adapter on mac os x 10.8.5 (Mac Pro).

However when inserting the dongle i get the following errors in the console:

15/10/13 18:33:00,000 kernel[0]: **** [BroadcomBluetoothHostControllerUSBTransport][start] -- Completed -- this = 0xffffff801fb89800 ****

What does it mean? What can i do to fix this?

NOTE: Upon insertion of the dongle, all of my USB ports freeze for 20 seconds and bluetooth does not pop up in the system preferences. However after patching the kext, the usb dongle does appear to get recognised as a bluetoothhostcontroller in system info.

Mac Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
