How do you change the time on the all day setting in the iCal on an iPhone?

I updated to ios 7 and when I want to put an all day event in. When I set it for an alert, it will only allow it to go off at 9:00 am. How do I change the time of 9:00?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.2

[I know this thread is crazy old, but I feel like ranting haha]

It pretty annoying. We used to be able to change the default start time for All Day Events, but ever since some update (I'm unaware which one), we can't do it anymore.

It's such a simple thing to have, so WHY would they exclude it in the newer versions?

Previously I changed my All Day Events to start at another time so they'd remind me at 10am or 11am, but not 9am. All of a sudden (after some update), I'm getting reminders at 9am again! ugh

While I'm almost positive Apple doesn't read any of these posts or cares, I hope you consider this --> bring back the ability to change the start times for All Day Events in Calendar! It's a pain that every All Day Event can only start at 9am. It simply doesn't make any sense, and the fix is incredibly easy. So please get it done!!

Thanks for your "help" Apple and for giving me the platform to rant about seemingly trivial tech snafus.

Have a good night everyone!

That is not exactly true. The default time for the alert is set to the day of the event at 9:00 AM.

So, there are two points to be made:

1. You can change the default time of the alert for an all day event at Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Default Alert Times > All Day Events. But those choices are limited, and all occur at 9AM (on some day).

2. You can make the event almost (but not quite) an all day event (for example, a 23 hour long event), and then you could edit the event to have much more flexibility about exactly when the alert occurs.
