Q: Downloading app with + on ipad should put app on iPhone also, right?

Seems like since ios7 update the apps do not download onto iPhone.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I have it turned on in settings. Anybody have a tip? I should try downloading an app on iPhone and see if it goes to ipad.  Guess I'll try that too.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7

You have to be signed into the same ID on both devices and have to have Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Automatic Downloads>On>Apps on both devices.

The + sign indicates that the app is Universal and optimized for the  iPhone and/or the iPad. The app should download to both devices if the settings are correct.

If it doesn't work, sign out of your ID in the settings, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen, then go back to the settings, sign in again and try again.

Thank you very much Demo. That solved the issue (sign off, power off, etc) Working perfectly now. I knew I had all the right buttons on for dual downloads. But it must have gotten out of sync with iPhone after the update. And for the record I love the ios7 update :).
