After downloading iOS 7 on my iPad mini I cannot download apps from the Apps store. Likewise I cannot update the existing apps which needed updating. In addition apps would just close or hang up.please help. How can I correct these?

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

What happens when you attempt to download from the App store?
Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.
This worked for me. Reset. Downloaded 7.0.3 and installed.
I have been having same problem with my ipad. Just tried to reset all settings. Now have Apple Logo on screen but does not seem to be doing anything on the small bar under the logo. How long is this suppose to take. Looks like it is locked up!
