Q: Bluetooth connection problems

My iPhone is not connecting to my car (Mazda3 2013) I'm not sure if it's the phone, the software, or my car. Does anyone have any helpful solution to this?

iPod touch, iOS 5.0.1

Try going into the vehicle settings and remove the phone from the list. Then go into the iPhone and remove the vehicle from the list. After that, then put both devices into pairing/discovery mode and try to pair them again.

I'm guessing here that the phone and vehicle have paired in the past?

Thanks but I actually just got my 5s today. And I have deleted all my old devices from my car but I was wondering if my back up from my old iPhone saved the car to the Bluetooth thing. If so how do I delete it?

The only way to see that is to go into Settings>Bluetooth>ON, then check all devices that are saved on the device.
