Borrow a wired keyboard and mouse.

For regular alphabetic and numeric characters, almost any USB keyboard will suffice. If you do not need fine motor control, almost any USB mouse will do

If you cannot find a friend to loan you these, make an appointment at the Genius Bar, FREE, and borrow theirs. Comes with clever folks who know a lot about Macs to help you evaluate what the problem might be. Did I mention that it's FREE -- in warranty or out?
