getting error message that registry settings are missing

I too have this issue. The notice that pops up before iTunes fully comes up says to reinstall iTunes. Well I did that and it's still having issues. This needs to be looked into Apple.

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

Thanks so much! I so appreciate it. iTunes works fine but yea, when I inserted a CD last night iTunes did NOT automatically ask if I wanted to rip the CD which it usually does. Hope this works!
