In-app purchase for PlayerXtreme HD not transferring to my other ios devices. Why not?

I purchased this app and then bought the in-app add-on to allow connection to network drives. It works well on my iPad.

The apps auto-sync'd to my son's ipad but the add-on didn't. I don't want to have to re-purchase the add-on.

Is this normal, or should I get the add-on across my ios devices.

It is not a replenish-able add-on

Check to make sure that the In-App purchase can be downloaded again. The article below will assist you further. If you can still download it and not able to, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.
