Q: Photostream sharing across different firmware versions
I've got a weird problem here:
Person A has an iPad with iOS7
Person B has an iPad with iOS6
Person A creates a photo stream and shares it with Person B - ensuring they turn on "Subscribers Can Post"
Person B joins the stream just fine (and can view photos already there), but cannot add photos to the stream
OK, now the other way around:
Person B creates a photo stream and shares it with Person A - "Subscribers Can Post" is not available as they are on iOS6
Person A joins the stream just fine (and can view photos already there), but cannot add photos to the stream
I'm guessing that the problem here is the server-side validation of whether the "Subscribers can post" option is switched on or not. As Person B has only iOS6 (and therefore the option is not available), it seems to me that this validation fails, meaning each ipad thinks that do not have permission to add photos to the stream.
Can anyone direct me in setting up a collaborative photostream between these devices?
iPad mini Wi-Fi, iOS 6.1
