Q: Keychain passwor

I upgraded to 10.8.5 - now my computer is constantly asking for keychain passwords. I followed the directions in the help section - my keychain IS unlocked - what's happening and how do I stop this?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Not sure what instructions you are referring to, so this may be redundant.

Open Keychain Access and select Keychain First Aid from the Keychain Access menu.

Follow the prompts to repair the keychain.

If it cannot be repaired, or it doesn't accept the password, you will most likely need to reset the keychain.

Also, there are settings to re lock the keychain after a certain amount of time.

Did you ever forget your account password and have to reset it?

Thank you - I tried the Repair and it said it found and fixed a problem. So hopefully this will stop it from occurring any more!

Okay, several days later, and the problem still exists. I've tried all the suggestions given here, and given it a few days, rebooted my computer a couple of times, to no avail.

Would appreciate any other suggestions! Thanks

Update, based on your previous note about changing settings (which I had ignored before because I hadn't had to ever reset my password - that I can remember) I found a lock setting, which I unclicked...so now I'll wait to see what happens again!
