removed Windows partition - now it's Null

I tried to use Bootcamp to install a Windows Partition. The attempt ended in failure - I got an alert that the partition could not be completed. However, A disk image appeared (named Bootcamp) and it showed it was formatted as FAT32 which I don't believe will work for Windows 7. I decided undo the partition and try again. However, when I went to Disk Utility and deleted the partition, it left the 300 GB as "Null" - Now, I can't seem to find a way to restore the 300GB as usable space. I can't expand the mac partition to eliminate it. Just unseen - the HD is now missing 300 GB of space

You should have used BootCamp Assistant to uninstall the partition. You may need to reformat the entire disk eventually so be sure to back up the Mac partition. The links below may give you some assistance in attempting to restore the space. Good luck.

For what it's worth, Bootcamp didn't give me the option of eliminating the partition. So, I kind of was forced to use Disk Utility. I have a Time Machine back up. I'll try repairing the disk from the Recovery HD. Thanks for your help.
