Worth upgrading my mac if lots of stuff needed?

Hi there,

I've got a Mac OS v10.6.8 and I need more GB of RAM, Open CL-capable graphics card (or Intel HD graphics 3000 or later) and more MB of VRAM. Is it worth/possible upgrading or should I get a new mac?

It is not possible to upgrade the graphics on a MacBook.
