Just Bought apple tv and its giving me a headache
its taking hours to load and watch a movie i gave up in the end
Pictures are the same loading 1 then just sitting on a loading sign
Music is starting to play then buffering in out all the way threw a 1 half min song
Not impressed at all

I have movies on my mac pro which iv coverted and sent into itunes, i can watch them on my mac pro ipad and iphone but could never watch a movie on tv hense the reason for the apple tv
but no mater what i do nothing is working its not jut the movies its the same with pictures and music
please help
How far is the TV from your router, what signal strength do you get, have you checked for interference.
tv and router and apple tv are pretty close
are you talking about the signal on my router and how would i check this

It's in settings > general > network.
signal is fine
What it seens like is happening is that apple tv is trying to download the movie from me the bar at the bottom is starting to go white but its taking forever at this rate could be 2 days untill fully loaded
is this normal
also music i cant get threw 1 track without it buffering
Restart iTunes on the computer. If the problem continues, reboot the computer.
Also, power cycling the router would be worth a shot.
