why does my iPhone 5 take forever to start up again

SO YESTURDAY I BROKE MY IPHONE CHARGER AND MY BATTERIE WAS 84% LAST NIGHT.. I WENT TO SLEEP DIDNT USE IT AT ALL . I WOKE UP IT WAS 2% .... THEN, I WENT TO SCHOOL WITHOUT AN PHONE .. I CAME HOME AND REMEBERD MY DAD HAS AN IPHONE 5 CHARGER. SO PLUGGED IT IN AND IT HAS BEEN 2HOURS AND STILL HASNT TURN ON :/ HELPPPPPPPP PLEASEEEE!!!!!

Please turn your CAPS_LOCK off, this is considered SHOUTING and is very rude if you want someone to help you.

If battery is completely dead, it will take sometime to re-charge.

Do a reset

Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data
