my macbook air dont show me the option of airplay

i have a macbook air mid 2011, and recently bought an apple tv, everything works fine but when I go to sistem preferences - display, it doesn´t show me the option of "airplay" that is supposed to show so I can do the mirroring.

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
