cd room not detected on virtual machine

hello

i have this problem with mi macbook pro, a few months ago the mother board of my macbook was replaced and since then any virtual machine software doesn`t detect the cd room, the dispositive works perfect in the osx but i can`t use it on the virtual machine does anybody knows what the problem cuold be??
