Q: Aptv keeps restarting itself for no apparent reason

For the last week or two my aptv has been restarting itself, usually when I put a program on pause

and come back a few min. later I find I'm back at the icon screen.

My software is up to date and my connection is very good so I'm really puzzled as to why it would

restart on it's own,  and it seems to be happening more often.

As well Hulu seems a little strange, it keeps asking to quite out and restart after an "update" and

it will do this a few times a day, very strange.

Anyone else having these same problems?

    Talking with tech support and there is nothing left to do. The unit is getting old and it is giving up. It would most likely cost more than it is worth to fix so we broke down and bought a new 4th generation apple Tv. No more reboot loop so it was defiantly the old 2nd gen. Apple TV. I guess 6 years is a far amount of time to get out of the unit. Good luck with anyone that has bought this recently and it does the looping since from what I understand from tech there will be no more updates for the 2nd gen. units.
