Converting work from Trial version to purchased version?
I just purchased FCPX and am wondering how to convert my work from the Trial version.
Final Cut Pro X, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

You don't have to do anything. The events and projects are independent of the application.

thanks i needed confirmation.
aloha! when you say you dont have to do anything.. does that mean just keep working in the trial version and when that is done they will appear in the version i just purchased?
Have you launched your paid version?
It should start up and load your projects exactly the same as the free trial . . . because they are the same app.
There is no point in finishing your projects in the trial . . . just open the paid version and carry on working.
And if the library (or libraries) you were working in on the trial version aren't immediately displayed by the paid version, not to worry. Just navigate to the one you want by: File>Open Library>Other.>Locate.
