Trying to reset ipad location & privacy, but password is required

I have been having a problem with Find My Friends - the labels show the email addresses and I'd like them to show my friends' names. Following some instructions I found here in the community, I am trying to reset the location & privacy. However, when I try to do so, I am prompted for a password. I tried both the regular locking password and the restriction password. Neither works.

Is there a special password to do this step? Or is there another way to get the display to show my friends names in Find My friends?

Thank you!

Good news...sort of. I didn't solve the password issue, but I was able to solve the name issue in Find My friends without having to reset location services.

I went to settings>Privacy>contacts. I just needed to flip the switch to allow find my friends to access contacts.

I still wish I knew what password I need to reset Location & Privacy.....I have only set up 2 passwords on this ipad and neither works.

Nope. Doesn't work for me! iPad 2, wifi model, 16 gig.

The stupid #*%~ password for restrictions is not the same as the screen lock nor as proven after 7 attempts with current and any recent old ones I had. In fact I never locked the d**mn restrictions and all this crap started with IOS 7!! Why doesn't Apple help people with this and other issues? It's their silly software. All they want to do is charge you!

Any ideas anyone?
