I am trying to Reference my Aperture Library, so that I keep all my RAW (original) files on my external hard drive, and only work on the Version files in Aperture. I am having a BIG problem with it. My Aperture library does not want to open now at all....
Can someoen please guide me through this, step by step??

What happens when you try to open the library? Be specific.
Have you tried running the Aperture first aid on the library? (see Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics)
How did you convert your originals from managed to referenced?

Well, I just switched back to how it was now, so everything works as normal.
I can tell what I want to do, though.
I am currently working on the Aperture Library IN APERTURE, so when I import HUGE RAW files (1000x at a time), it will tell me very quickly that there is not enough space. So what I would like to do is:
I would like my library to look like this:
I want to import EVERYTHING and KEEP THEM THERE for ever.....
Because at the moment, I work on my RAW files, I export them as:
-RAW
-With watermark
-Without watermark
onto my HardDive in folders.
Then I delete them off my library IN Aperture, because I need to, there is not enough space.
So when someone contacts me and they want 10 images of eg.Street food of Phuket, that are HIGH resulotion, or made b/w or whatever, then I have to re-import a RAW to re-edit it to what the client wants.
Do you understand were I am going with this??
So now, I woud like to know, HOW to put my Aperture Library on my harddrive, and keep all files IN APERTURE so I can work on them whenever I need to, and of course export them as I want, but still keep them in Aperture.
But I am having problems with this whole referenced thing and in moving my library to my HD. I have tried dragging my Aperture Library (in Pictures) to my HD, it copies, and then when I hold down the OPTION key and open Aperture, I go to Other Library:
and choose my Aperture Library on my HD which I have copied from PICTURES:
Then I get this.....
And this is where I STOPPED..........

You're going about this all wrong. Aperture already has a way to deal with this issue, turn the managed originals into referenced originals stored on the external drive.
Use the command File->Relocate Originals This will move the originals from inside the Aperture library to wherever you wish. When the command runs you are presented with a window in which you select the location for the originals and the folder structure that the originals will be stored in. Note this folder structure has nothing to do with the layout of the Aperture library itself, that will remain as it currently is.
With the originals now referenced you continue to use Aperture as you always have but the actual files for the originals will be on your external drive.

With this setup there is no need to re-import the images, just work on them as you normally do.
Three points
One when you import new images into the library make sure you setup the import pane to store the new files on the external drive
Second normally Aperture creates preview images of the originals. These previews can take up a fair amount of space and relocating the originals might still not free up enough room on the internal drive depending on how big the library is and what size the previews you are generating are. If you still have space problems after relocating all the originals off the internal disk there are ways to modify the previews to shrink the library even more. If this is a problem post back and we can go over these steps.
Finally If the external drive is disconnected from your system you will still be able to use Aperture you just won;t be able to make adjustments to the images or export them.

The above post is the preferred way to do what you want to do but just to cover your last few issues
If you wanted to you could put the whole library on an external drive and run it off of that. However this usually leads to performance issues unless the external drive is connected via USB 3, FireWire or Thunderbolt.
I you put the library on an external drive it must be formatted as OS X Extended (Journaled).
As you can see in the error message you got when you tried to open the copied library the drive you copied to is not formatted correctly. The solution is to re-format the drive as OS X Extended (Journaled).
Note formatting a drive will erase all data on that drive so if there is anything on it now you need to back it up before formatting.
I personally would go with the referenced set up but you could do this either way.
