Q: Hotspot lost since update IOS7

Hello everyone, I hope I can find sombody with a solution to my problem.

I've been using my iphone 4 as a hotspot for my Macbook succesfully over the last few years. But since I've updated the iphone to IOS 7 the Network settings in the macbook don't recognize the iphone4 any longer. It says the usb is not connected or the device does not respond.

I've updated the Macbook to the latest version of Mountain Lion and I can access the iphone via USB in itunes on the Macbook, so there is a connection established.

The funny thing is, that I've tried it with a different iphone4 S and that works fine. Does anyone experienced the same problem and maybe even found a solution? That would really help me.
