Why is HTTPS information not stored in iOS?

I know there has been written a lot about this issue, so why does apple still ignore the many complaints about HTTPS storage.

Working behind a proxy requires me to type in, at least 20 times a day, my proxy login. This is very annoying!

The HTTP information is set correctly, but neither mail, nor Safari nor any of the other apps seem to be able to store the HTTPS credentials.

Does anybody have a solution for this?

iOS 7, iPhone 4s and iPad 2

If not: Please Apple, make this work!

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.2
