Q: Why is my iPhone 4 not starting up after leaving it inside our tent overnight?

It had 50% battery before I slept and it was still ringing till it went totally dead and not charging at all.

I'm wondering what happened, was it because of the cold climate overnight???

iPhone 4, iOS 7.0.2
