Q: After updatíng to ios7 my subscribed calendars and iCloud doesn't work, Please

Panic attack!

my subscibed calendars doesn't show in  my calendar after updating to latest ios7 yesterday.

Only manually entered meetings show up.

Saw on a calendar community one tip on solution, that you should enter under "Settings" and "E-mail and calendar" and deactivate SSL (whateverthatis ?)

but this is not possible in my iPhone since the menu "Emails and Calendars"

is gray (inactive).

And also my iCloud menu is gray, how do I activate that? Is that nesscesary perhaps in order to reach the calendar settings?

Please help me!

Jennie

Ask the person to send the calendar invitation again.

    Dear ckuan

I have the subscription updated and re-installed, and check-marked them in  "show calendars"

    But this still doesn't help.

The events in those calendars doesn't show when I open the Calendar.

    Did you check

Calendar app > tap Calendars (bottom middle) >

under iCloud, are all the calendars selected ?

under Subscribed. are all calendars selected ?

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars >

under ACCOUNTS , Subscribed Calendars > tap the calendar >

         Account: ON?

         Server: p04......

Description: calendar name (should be unique so you know what calendar it is.

         Use SSL: ON

    under CALENDARS,

         New Invitation Alerts: ON

         Shared Calendar Alerts: ON

    yes all calendars are selected

    and under

    "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"

nothing in the menu Account is clickable (inactive or something)

so I cant check or change anything there.

    and under Calendars

there are only the following options:

Show all calendars / Hide all calendars

iCloud calendars   (and all these are checked/selected)

    Subscribed calendars ( -  "  - )

    Birthdays     (selected)

Show denied activities (which I have marked off or No)

    I think

the problem has to do with my iCloud not working or being deactivated or something,

    How do I fix that?.

Do you have Restrictions in Calendar set?

Settings > General > Restrictions > Calendar > Allow Changes (selected)

Is Settings > iCloud > Account > your Apple ID?

What do you want to open?

Is the switch for Calendar ON?

You can delete the iCloud account (do not delete content from iCloud) and set it up again
