how do I move an album or an event to an other library in iPhoto 11 ?

Two possibilities:
1. Export the photos from Library A to the Finder and then import them to Library B
This will get the photos, and depending on what export settings you use, the metadata to the new Library. But it will not get the edit history or versions.
