1. Plug Phone into PC

2. Open Itunes

3. Once phone is recognized click on "iPhone" in the top right hand corner

4. In the new screen go to the last tab "On This Phone"

5. Make sure "Music" is highlighted on the left hand side.

6. You should see all the songs in your phone even the greyed out ones

7. Select all the songs in the box so that they are all highlighted dark grey

8. Once all the songs are selected simply right click and hit Delete

I have had the same problem and I was able to delete all but one. The one that won't delete is the one that is currently playing. It cannot be swipe deleted. I had another song that I was having a similar problem so I connected to iTunes, synced that song to the phone and then it would let me delete it. So, I synced the entire album that contains the song that I can't delete. Doing so allows me to swipe delete all of the songs until it says "No Content".

However, if I select the "Now Playing" in the upper right-hand of the screen, the song is still playing and when I go back to the Songs list it is back like David F@#king Copperfield with no option to delete it.

I don't want any music on my phone (that's why I have an iPod) because every time I get in my car and the phone connects to the radio it starts playing over Bluetooth audio automatically.

I had the same problem. I could solve it like this:

- Go to the music settings on your iPhone and select "Show all music"

- Then go in the music app and DOWNLOAD the songs you can't delete from iTunes in the cloud (yes sounds paradox but just do it)

Now you should be able to delete the songs you couldn't delete before. Turn off "Show all music" and check if they're still there. In my case, they weren't.

Here is something, First Download all from Icloud. Then Turn off Show off all Music in the Settings (music app is in there scroll down). Simple BUT if you accidenly play the song you're deleting and then it won't delete anymore heres this solution. Go back to Settings turn ON the Show All Music. Go to Music App redownload that song again and you will be able to delete it. It sounds aggraviating but once it is down you'll be happy. And don't forget to turn OFF the The Show all music once everything was done deleting.

I can't delete certain songs from iPhone ios 7.
