Since dowloading the updated iOS, when I try to use Google I get a message that says "No network connection." However, my Safari and other internet apps work. Any ideas?

Which Google app are you having issues with?
It's the Google search page.
iOS 7 wouldn't have anything to do with the website, you have to use Safari to get to the website anyway. So if Safari is working and you can't load Google can you load any other pages?
That's weird.
If safari works, then your phone is fine.
By chance, do you have an IPv6 address? (it looks like this format: 2001:db8::ff00:42:8329)
