Hi, I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8, and I want to update my Itunes to version 11.1. I have an Iphone 4 and the Ipad 2, both with the iOS version 7. What can I do???

Make sure your Mac can handle 10.6. Some older Macs can only go to 10.5.8 and no higher.
As I am SOOO not computer savy, I am looking for assistance.
Mac OSX Version 10.5.8 as well as above.
That means I need to install the following:
1. Snow Leopard
2. Lion
3. Mountain Lion
How will I KNOW if my Mac will allow me to install these Operating Systems?
Feb 2014 will make my MAc 5 years old.
Is it worth it to upgrade system.
