HTML+CSS Signature

I've created a HTML signature with inline css (though none inline css worked as well).
The signature looks perfect except that it seems to be frozen to the left top of the email message.
When I type a message, it will disappear behind the signature.

How can this be solved?

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), Mac mail v6.5

Ok, i have a couple of items using "position:absolute . This is causing the problem.
Taking them out however is not an option... how to continue...?

I think I actually found it. I had it wrapped in a div and changed that div's poision value to relative.
Seems to be working fine. Need some more testing though....
