Strange 'Square Lines' after 10.4.7?

Hey,

The screen on my W24 MacBook is great, and is really impressive.
After I installed the new update, some stange squares have appeared in the display.

They seem to get worse towards the centre of the screen, paticularly noticable when the screen shows black colours.

Its like very small squares arranged in columns? Is it normal or just me?

Thanks for the advise.

User uploaded fileWhile it might be just you it's definitely not normal. What update did you install reecently? If it was Mac OS X 10.4.7 I would suggest you…

1) Repair your disk permissions Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities)

2) Reinstall/reapply the 10.4.7 using the combo updater rather than the delta updater (what Software Update uses). You can download it at…

3) Repair your disk permissions again.
