How do I block outgoing calls on my iphone without blocking incoming mail and whatsup messages?

First of all I don't know who marked it solved and why? I see people saying avoid the problem rather giving a fix and solution here.

I am saying all this cause I didn't find even a single app in iphone which blocks the outgoing calls via some rules e.g. there is one app in android where I can block any calls starting from + and 00 with exception of +65 which is Singapore local no where I stay.

this way I can avoid accidental calling of the expensive ISD no., I can however use the 019** pattern to make cheap calls [a service provided by my telco] as they are not part of filter.

This happens cause my contacts have both format, + <country code> [specially for whatsapp support] and without country code.

if I woudn't have whatsapp, I would not have saved the no with + <country code> with first place to avoid issues.

so eventually accidents were quiet common..

2ndly my telco doesn't provide simply "+ <country code>" barring either. It will either bar both both 019** pattern and +<country code> or allow both.

the only and only way around is to have an app in this case. which iPhone community doesn't have.

After looking at first round search in apple store I find apple have much limited stock of applications and 2ndly many things come with price.

I can't pay the price of an app and then try it. I won't pay a price for an app until I know it does what I want. BTW in this case even the paid version doesn't exists.

This post is to realize apple team to get some encouragements to app developer to have something for iphone community.

It would require far too large a battery to be practical. And, of course, lawyers.

Iphone is just phony has no use...

android is much better a lots of apps which can stop you from dialing with certain numbers and prefixes.

iphone has none..

No, such an app would not exist. It would impair the security of the phone.

Thank you for digging up a thread marked solved two years ago to post your personal opinion. How does your post provide any technical support?

I have both an iPhone and an Android. They both have there pros and cons.

Block outgoing calls? Simply refrain from making them.

If you like you can turn off cellular communication but keep WiFi on by turning on Airplane Mode and then turn on WiFi (in Settings).
