I upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. Now my calendar and contacs will not show up on Outlook 2013 and the icloud sync button is not on either. If I click on the box for the icloud box, which is shown, i get "The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store cannot be opened." This, of course, means that I cannot sync my iphone 4 with Outlook. Anybody got a fix?

I had nearly the same problem (my calendar would not even open) with the same error you have after upgrading to windows 8.1. I was already using Icloud 3.0 and the fix ended up being reinstalling it from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455.

This did not work for me. I never get the Sync button in Outlook 2010. It synced for a while, then didn't. Do I have to upgrade my iOS on my iPhone 4? Very frustrated!
