Logic Pro X Tablature missing notes, imported from Guitar Pro 6

Hello everyone,

I have been composing in guitar pro 6 for a while, and would like to use the logic pro tablature functions to continue writing my metal album in a better software setting. I imported the midi files from guitar pro 6, and while all notes play back correctly and display correctly in standard notation, the tablature is missing most of the notes.

Here is a screenshot of what is happening.

If you need any more information, please ask and I will try to post it ASAP.

Thanks for your help, and I hope somebody knows what's up with this :/

Is it supposed to be for 7 string guitar? You'll have to read this:

http://help.apple.com/logicpro/mac/10/#lgcp204e230e

and especially the chapter Determine the string assignment. It sometimes does react strangely (like not showing E6) I must admit. Start a new project in score mode and try to enter a scale from the lowest string up to the highest string. Now change midi channels, in the event editor, observing how this provokes different possibilities of identical notes on the fretboard.

Have a nice day!
