My Ipad fell while in itscase on the other side of the bed and when I picked it back up it had a messed up screen like how a tvs picture messes up and you have to go to the menu and degauss. Well I powered off the ipad and to try and turn it back on to see what it would do and now It is makeing sounds but the picture wont come back at all please help.

Some iPad users have been able to revive their dropped iPad. Turn the iPad over and give it a HARD SLAP on the back. May take several slaps.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or at an authorized repair center. Something has been damaged inside the device as the result of the fall. You may be eligible for an out-of-warranty replacement. It will cost.
Degaussing is a process used with a CRT tube type display to reduce a magnetic field which may be effecting the quality of the picture. LCD displays are not effected the same way by a magnetic field so there is no degaussing feature in any LCD displays.
