windows 8.1 and itunes authorization

I just updated from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 on my computer. Now when I start iTunes, I get the message:

"This computer is no longer authorized for apps that are installed on ("my IPhone"). Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store?

If you do not authorize this computer, 3 apps, including "Local", and their data will be deleted from thisiPhone."

However when I click on Authorize it tells me that:

"You cannot authorize more than 5 computers."

I did not authorize an additional computer, and I can't deauthorize the computer that I jam using, so does anyone have a work around?
