wont start up
2004 G5 power mac 1.8ghz single processor 4 gb ram.
reformated hard drive, trying to start from original mac os x CD. screen shows computer language (text) wont go past this.

Original Mac OSX CD you mention is newer than Leopard, PowerMac G5 don't boot up.
Replace PRAM battery and resetting PRAM as well as SMU could solve the problem.
